Bar Channel

Superior Steel Supply inventories, distributes and saw cuts a wide range of carbon bar channels. Carbon bar channels typically range from 1 ½” x 1 ½” to 2” x 1” and primarily come in 20’ lengths. Superior Steel Supply can saw cut your angle requirements down to size with our inhouse saw service.
Bar channels produced domestically are primarily done by the use of Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF) that use 95%+ post-consumer recycled scrap.
Bar channels are mild steel and may be produced from the mill that could meet multiple grade specifications simultaneously including ASTM A36, ASTM A529 grade 50, CSA 44W and CSW 44W50.

Bar channels are generally used in the wide array of steel applications including manufacturing, construction, architectural, machinery, trailers, racking and MRO (maintenance, repair and operational).
Bar channels are a popular selection for use in the above applications as they are commonly saw cut, drilled, laser cut, formed, welded and can be industrially coated.
